Anna Swarm

Anna “Jo” Swarm, 88, of Marathon, NY passed away on Monday August 21, 2023.

She was born on June 2, 1935, the daughter of the late LaVerne and Hilda Everson Townsend.  Anna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and dancing. Her and her husband Robert would perform 6-8 shows each month, singing and playing guitar at fourteen senior citizen homes throughout Central New York.

Anna is survived by her husband Robert Swarm, her daughters Barbara O’Brien and Mary Bermudez, eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Anna is predeceased by her one brother, and her six sisters.

In keeping with the wishes of the family, there will be no services.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
