Arlene J. Knupp

Arlene J. (Sternbergh) Knupp, 83, formerly of Willet, NY, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at the Cortland Regional Nursing Facility, Cortland, NY.

Born in Willet, NY on October 5, 1931, Arlene was the daughter of the late Dewey and Freda Calkins Sternbergh.  A lifelong resident of this area, she was a member of the Willet United Methodist Church.  She was also a member of the Moose Lodge of Cortland and the Disabled American Veterans.

She is survived by her brother, Robert (Bev) Sternbergh of Greene and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband, Orville Knupp, on August 23, 2005 and her sister, Pauline Parker Batsford, on November 21, 2012.

A graveside service will be held at the Willet Cemetery at a later date and time to be announced.
