Barbara Ann Crane

Barbara Ann Crane, 68, of Willet, NY, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2011, at the Cortland Regional Medical Center, Cortland, NY.

Mrs. Crane was born in New Jersey on December 16, 1942, a daughter of the late Jacob and Magdalene Raichle Brower. A longtime resident of the area, she was a member of the Willet Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children, KariAnn Crane of Willet, Barbara "Bobbie Jo" (Otis) Ellerson of Whitney Point, and Jacob (Carol) Crane of Willet. She also leaves behind a brother, William (Diane) Brower of Greene; grandchildren, Ashlie and Barbara Ellerson and Lacey and Jacob Crane; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, George Crane, in 1997, a brother, Charles Brower, and a granddaughter, Katelyn Crane.

A memorial service will be held at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, NY on Saturday, February 19, 2011, at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Diane Brower officiating. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
