Bryan L. Knapp

Bryan L. Knapp, 60, of Cincinnatus, NY, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at the Crown Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Cortland, NY, after a brief illness.

Born in Cortland, NY, on April 17, 1960, Bryan was the son of the late Richard and Frances Mowry Knapp.  A lifetime resident of this area, he had previously been employed in the print shop at the Cortland Standard.  Bryan had a passion for farming and enjoyed tractor racing and his puppies, Charlie and Chloe.

He is survived by his wife, together for 25 years, Kelly Brayton Knapp; and his daughters, Carrie (Michael Hoffman) Carpenter of Germantown, MD and Cassie (Michael Bidwell) of Hannibal.  He also leaves behind his siblings, Wayne (Kathy) Knapp, Patricia (Craig) Livingston, Ellison Knapp, Harold (Kelly) Knapp, Tina (David) Peacock, and a special brother, Michael (Bridgett) Knapp; nieces, Jessica Peacock and Elizabeth Knapp; a nephew, Jakob Knapp; and close friends, Jeffrey Pierson, David Pierson and Don Cole.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Darla Knapp.

In keeping with the wishes of the family, there will be no immediate services.  A Celebration of Bryan’s Life will be held at a later date.
