Casey L. Knickerbocker, 30, of Cincinnatus, NY, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Upstate University Hospital, Syracuse, NY.
Casey was born in Cortland, NY, on March 21, 1987, a daughter of Kim and Cheryl Stockholm Knickerbocker. A 2005 graduate of Cincinnatus Central School, Casey volunteered for Vicky and Ray Delaney at the Cortland Picture Frame Company. She loved playing and watching soccer, dancing, and spending time with her family, especially her pride and joy, her niece Kennedy Eaton.
She is survived by her parents, Kim and Cheryl Knickerbocker; her sisters, Brittany (Asa) Eaton and Brooke (Shane) Kemak; her grandparents, Linda Christy, Brenda Knickerbocker, and Alan and Nancy Stockholm. She also leaves behind her nieces, Kennedy Eaton and Madison Kemak; a great-niece, Brooklyn Kemak; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friends, Kristin and Brent Russell, and the Cobb and Campbell families.
She was predeceased by her grandparents, Ward Christy and Patricia and Henry Knickerbocker.
The family will be present to receive friends at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, NY, on Thursday, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Memorial services will be held at the United Presbyterian Church of Cincinnatus on Friday, April 28, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor George Carruth officiating.
