Clifford Carlin

Clifford F. Carlin, 74, of Greene, NY, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023, at the Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City, NY, while surrounded by his family.

Cliff was born in Norwich, NY, on June 30, 1949, the son of Frank and Erma Monroe Carlin.  A longtime resident of this area, he retired from the Raymond Corporation in Greene, NY, after 40 plus years of service.  In his spare time, he was an avid bowler with many perfect games of 300.  He also enjoyed playing horseshoes and was an outstanding pool player.

In addition to his mother, Erma Carlin, of Oxford, he is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Teresa Stone Carlin; his children, Robin (Andy) Clark of Kingsport, TN, Tamria (Roger Clarkston) Brown of Marietta, Wendy (Daniel) Custer of Cuyler, Shelley Scoville of Cortland, Shawn (Tabitha) Scoville of Cincinnatus, Scott (Jessica) Carlin of Kirkwood, Tina (Jashobanth) Mohanty of Fort Mill, SC, Misty Summers of Oswego, Becky (Adam) Brown of German, and Shanieka Cathcart of Cortland.  He also leaves behind 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Debra (Jere Spathelf) Carlin, Christine Ross, and Teresa (Rod) Flood, all of Oxford; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cliff was predeceased by his father, Frank Carlin.
