Clyde D. Treacy, Sr.

Clyde D. Treacy, Sr., 75, of Cortland, NY, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse, NY.

Mr. Treacy was born in Cortland, NY, on September 11, 1943, the son of the late Francis and Elizabeth Kelsey Treacy.  He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Conflict.  He had previously worked at Gutchess Lumber.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Donna Treacy; and his children, Melissa Contento, Clyde Treacy, Jr., Joy Treacy, Kevin Treacy, and Todd (Danielle) Treacy.  He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Kaylean Contento, Robert Contento II, Savanna Contento, Damian Brown, Donavin Brown, Callen Treacy, Brayden Treacy, and Kinsley Treacy; a brother, Joseph (Jean) Treacy of SC; a sister, Jane (George) Musbeck of NH; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Patrick, and a sister, Frances.

The family will be present to receive friends at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, NY, on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
