David P. Miller, Jr.

David P. Miller, Jr., 39, of Marathon, NY, and formerly of Pitcher, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 8, 2019, at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA.

David was born in Cortland, NY, on October 25, 1979, the son of David Miller, Sr. and Linda Bishop Miller.  A lifelong resident of this area, he enjoyed working on his farm in North Pitcher.

In addition to his parents, David and Linda Miller of Pitcher, he is survived by his wife, Heather Bard Miller; a daughter, Emily Miller of Beaver Meadow; stepchildren, Tyler Bard of Beaver Meadow and Desirae Bard of FL.  He also leaves behind a sister, Lisa (Milt) Cruikshank of Pharsalia; brothers, Mike (Penny) Rogers of MD, Joe (Missy) Miller of Pitcher, Danny Miller of South Otselic, Troy (Valerie) Miller of PA, Aaron (Robin) Miller of Pitcher, and Robert (Lindsey Cook) Miller of Pitcher; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

David was predeceased by a brother, Jeff Miller, in 1987.

Graveside services will be held at the North Pitcher Cemetery on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at 10:00 a.m.  There will be no prior calling hours.
