Donald E. Fuller, 86, of Cincinnatus, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at the Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City, NY.

Don was born on December 30, 1939, in Cortland, NY, the son of the late Edward and Lydia Kibbe Fuller.

Don built a life marked by hard work and service to his community. Prior to his retirement, he owned and operated Don Fuller Trucking in Cincinnatus. Before that, he worked for Smith Corona for 26 years, and he also served two terms as the Cincinnatus Highway Superintendent. He was also a member of Tractors of Yesteryear, an interest that reflected a connection to the people and pursuits he valued.

Above all, Don will be remembered by the family who shared in his life and loved him deeply. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Roberta Stith Fuller. He also leaves his daughter Sheila Fox of Cortland; his son William Fuller and his spouse, Kelli, of Cincinnatus; his daughter Cheryl Munro and her spouse, Buzzy, of Cincinnatus; and his son Billy Joe Bevins of Cincinnatus.

His memory will also be cherished by his grandchildren, Clinton (Jessica) Fox, Addie (Cliff) Hovis, Derek (Elizabeth) Fuller, Dana (Summer) Fuller, Dustin (Kendall) Fuller, Kyle Robinson, Jordan (Payten) Boice, and Ed (Emily) Munro. He also leaves behind 12 great-grandchildren; a brother David (Monika) Fuller of Cincinnatus, and a sister Beverly (Barney) Small of Pharsalia. May his family find comfort in the many years they shared with him and in the lasting memories he leaves behind.

In addition to his parents, Don was predeceased by a son-in-law, Joe Fox.

Funeral services for Don will be held at the Church of Christ in Christian Union on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. with his pastor, Reverend Palmer Neumeister, officiating. Burial will be in Taylor Rural Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family will be present to receive friends at the church on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the start of the service at 3:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Don may be directed to the Church of Christ in Christian Union, c/o Connie Neumeister, 2687 State Route 26, Cincinnatus, NY 13040.

Don’s life was one of dedication to work, community, and family, and he will be remembered with love and respect.
