Donald John Scoville

November 11, 1943 — December 17, 2019

Donald John Scoville, 76, of Cincinnatus, NY, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, December 17, 2019.

John was born in Binghamton, NY, on November 11, 1943, the son of the late Donald and Florence Eaton Scoville.  A longtime resident of this area, he was a member of the Taylor Wesleyan Church.  He was an avid fisherman and a founding member of the Central New York Bass Association.

John is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Uzella Ducy Scoville; a son, Shawn (Tabitha) Scoville of Cincinnatus; daughters, Robin (Andy) Clark of Cincinnatus, Tamria Brown of Norwich, Wendy (Dan) Custer of Cuyler, and Shelly (Sid Lewis) Scoville of Freeville.  He also leaves behind his stepchildren, David Marshall Sneed II of Cortland and Eric Bruce (Shirley) Millette of Ft. Valley, GA; a sister, Cynthia Ann (Irv) Potter of Marathon; 19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Edward Howard Scoville and Roger F. Livermore.

A memorial service will be held at the Taylor Wesleyan Church on Sunday, December 29, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. with his pastor, Reverend Peter Bush, officiating.  There will be no prior calling hours.  Expressions of sympathy in memory of John may be directed to the Taylor Wesleyan Church, c/o David Knickerbocker, 3279 State Route 26, Cincinnatus, NY 13040.
