Donna K. Brown

Donna K. (Turner) Brown, 50, of Cincinnatus, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, in Jacksonville, FL.

Donna was born in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, on April 8, 1970, the daughter of Donald and Verda Rood Turner.  She attended the Church of Christ in Christian Union, Cincinnatus, NY.  She had been employed as an LPN at Cortland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Cortland, NY.

In addition to her parents, Donald and Verda Turner of Jacksonville, FL, she is survived by her husband of 17 years, Hugh “Hoot” Brown of Cincinnatus; her children, Donald (Katherine) Lynch of Petersburg, VA and Kerry Lynch of Dinwiddie, VA; and her stepchildren, Sandra (Ian) Simpson of Cortland, Karen (Justin) Maxfield of Canandaigua, Courtney (Thomas) Compton of Willard MO, Jon (Andrea) Brown of Cincinnatus, and Jacob Brown of Cortland.  She also leaves behind her sisters, Lisa (Dan) Green of Honeoye, Teresa Lacey of Arlington, TX, Pamela (Brian) Sterner of Germany, and Ruth (Steve) Farris of Richmond, VA; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A memorial service will be held at the Church of Christ in Christian Union on Saturday, June 27, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. with her pastor, Reverend Palmer Neumeister officiating.  Immediately following the memorial service, there will be a celebration of Donna's life at the family farm.
