Douglas P. Griswold

Douglas P. Griswold, 67, of Cortland, NY, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018, at the Riverview Manor Health Care Facility, Owego, NY.

Born in Cortland, NY, on November 26, 1951, Mr. Griswold was the son of the late Carl and Rose Camillo Griswold.  Prior to his retirement, he owned and operated Griswold Automotive where he was a self-employed mechanic.  In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and was an avid NY Yankee fan.

He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Griswold (Andy) Hull of McDonough and Kelli (Jess Rigg) Griswold of Cortland.  He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Brittany Smith and Averi Hull both of Pensacola, FL, and Aiden Rigg of Cortland; a brother, Mark Griswold of Cortland; sisters, Marlene Bartoo of Scio and Marie Farley of Wellsville; the mother of his children, Pamela Davis of Cortland; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Leroy Griswold and Carl Griswold, Jr.
