Edith E. Randall

Edith E. (Fosgate) Randall, 99, formerly of Cincinnatus, NY, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024, at the Crouse Community Center, Morrisville, NY.

Edith was born in Cortland, NY, on November 13, 1924, the daughter of Roy and Frances Weeks Fosgate.  A long-time resident of this area, she was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union, Cincinnatus and devotedly supported many missions through the church.  Prior to her retirement, she had worked as an assembler for the Cortland Line Company.

She is survived by her children, Gordon (Debra) Randall of Cazenovia, Marleene (Dwayne) Smith of Waycross, GA, Theresa (Lloyd) Grant of Blackshear, GA, and Lisa (Keith) Jones of Atlanta, GA.  She also leaves behind a brother, Clyde (Helen) Fosgate of Texas, NY; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John Randall, in 1997; a daughter, Deborah Jean Randall in 1972; and several brothers and sisters.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no prior calling hours or funeral service.  A graveside service will be held at the Pitcher Cemetery at a date to be announced.  Expressions of sympathy in memory of Edith may be directed to the Church of Christ in Christian Union, 2687 State Route 26, Cincinnatus, NY 13040.
