Gary E. Sturdevant

Gary E. Sturdevant, 67, of Norwich, NY and formerly of South Otselic, NY, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2012, at the Valley View Nursing Home, Norwich, NY.

Born in Binghamton, NY on June 1, 1945, Gary was a son of the late Vern and Naomi Allen Sturdevant.

He is survived by his brothers, Ned Sturdevant of Whitney Point and Paul Sturdevant of Lisle; a sister, Inez David of Upper Lisle; close friends, Fred Farrow and June Aitchison of South Otselic, and Bev Farrow of North Pitcher.  He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his canine companion, Wookie.

A graveside service will be held at the Taylor Rural Cemetery, Cincinnatus, NY on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.
