Irma J. Kenyon

Irma J. (Strough) Kenyon, 75, of Willet, NY, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse, NY.

Born in Willet, NY on November 27, 1939, Irma was a daughter of the late Roland and Catherine Howland Strough.  A lifelong resident of the area, she was a member of the Willet United Methodist Church, until it closed, and was active with the Willet/Cincinnatus Sr. Center.  A loving mother and grandmother, she will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Brenda (Doug) Tuttle of Fort Mill, SC and Brian (Marilyn) Kenyon of Willet.  She also leaves behind a brother, Charlie (Eleanor) Strough of Willet; a sister, Joyce Brown, of Willet; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by a daugther, Beverly Kenyon; and her brothers, Carlton "Farmer" Strough and Robert Strough.

A graveside service will be held at the Willet Cemetery on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at 1:00 p.m.  There will be no prior calling hours.  Expressions of sympathy in memory of Irma may be directed to the Willet/Cincinnatus Sr. Center, 5492 Route 41, Willet, NY 13863.
