John M. Barber

John M. Barber, 77, of McGraw, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 20, 2022, at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA.

John was born in Homer, NY, on October 13, 1944, the son of the late Frederick and Bertha Howe Barber.  A lifetime resident of the area, he was an active life member of the McGraw Fire Department and an active member of the Cincinnatus Fire Department and Cincinnatus Emergency Squad.

He is survived by his children, Jeremey Barber of Lake Como and Kari (Alex Niles) Barber of McGraw.  He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Kadin, Zoey, Jaxon, and Dylan; a brother, David (Jeri) Barber of Homer; and the mother of his children, Lois Barber.
