John R. Lemin, 40, of South Otselic, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at his home.
Born in Huntingdon, PA, on June 9, 1981, John was the son of Ronald and Elizabeth Sherman Lemin. He was employed as a truck driver for Metzler Brothers, Ducansville, PA. Prior to that, he had worked as a truck driver for the Waltz family where he developed many close relationships with the family. He was a very hard-working, loving and loyal partner to Justine and their children. He had a passion for Ford Mustangs and was a big tractor-trailer enthusiast, keeping his in immaculate condition.
In addition to his parents, Ronald and Elizabeth Lemin, of Fishertown, PA, he leaves behind his companion, Justine Huntley and their children, Lakyn and Ireland, all of South Otselic; brothers, LeRoy (Anita) Lemin of PA, Ronald (Teresa) Lemin, Jr. of VA, James (Annette) Lemin of PA, David (Bonnie) Lemin of PA, and Scott (Bonnie) Lemin of VA; sisters, Patricia (John) Lemin Todd of GA and Tammy Burgess of GA. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, including Lawrence, Kylee, Josh, Dalton and Addison; Justine’s mother, Christina Waltz, of South Otselic; Justine’s siblings, Jamin, Jansen, Jillian and Jayden; and very dear friends, Lee Hughes of PA and Will Koornstra of Lebannon.
He was predeceased by a brother, Billy Lemin; a brother-in-law, Donald Burgess; and a very dear friend, Travis “Beef” Feaster.
A Celebration of John’s Life will be held at a later date and time. Arrangements have been entrusted to the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, NY.
