Joyce Marie Cornell Brown

Joyce Marie (Strough) Cornell Brown, 86, of Marathon, NY, and formerly of Willet, NY, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at her daughter's home in Marathon, NY, following medical issues.

Joyce was born in Willet, NY, on February 27, 1932, the daughter of the late Roland and Catherine Howland Strough.  She had resided in Willet for most of her remaining years, with her final home in Marathon.

She is survived by her daughter, Valarie (John) Gaylord of Marathon, and a brother, Charles Strough of Willet.  She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three children, Jack, Janice and Jon Cornell; her husband, Vernon Cornell;  former husband, Joel Brown; two brothers; a sister; a niece; and a nephew.
