Joyce E. Jordan

Joyce Euson Jordan, 82, formerly of Solon, NY, is now listening to the music in heaven with her loved ones who have gone before her.

Born in Cortland, NY on April 18, 1931, Joyce was a daughter of Andrew and Arla Smith Seamans.  A lifelong resident of the area, she was a member of the McGrawville Baptist Church.  She retired from Rubbermaid after many years of service and also served as a 4-H horse leader.  She will always be remembered by the many people she helped during her life.

She is survived by her children, Linda (Royal) Stevens of Solon and Randy (Linda) Euson of Cincinnatus.  She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Angela Marsh, Carrie (Joe) Kash, Paul (Trude) Morse, Jenine Euson, Andrew (Heather) Euson, and Deidre (Cory) Brown; and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her twin sister, Jean Smith; her ex-husband, Lenard Euson; a grandson, Alex Rose; and a son, Stanley Euson.

Memorial services for Joyce will be held at the McGrawville Baptist Church on Monday, March 17, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. with her pastor, Reverend Fran Cochran officiating.  Burial will be in Taylor Rural Cemetery at a later date.  The family will be present to receive friends at the church on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the start of the service at 5:00 p.m.
