Judith A. Scheckler

Judith "Judi" A. Scheckler, 67, of Willet, NY, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at the Hospicare Center in Ithaca, NY, following a brief illness.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ on October 26, 1947, Judi was a daughter of Joseph and Dorothy Ferris Krisanits.  She was a former member of the Grace Baptist Church, Cortland, NY.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Clifford Scheckler; and her children, David (Patty) Scheckler of Hamilton, Clifford (Elaina) Scheckler of Hamilton, Phyllis (Bob) Metcalf of Pitcher, and Grace Scheckler of Willet.  She also leaves behind eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, she was also predeceased by several siblings.

A memorial service will be held at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, NY on Monday, May 11, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. with Fred M.S. Downs officiating.  There will be no prior calling hours.  Expressions of sympathy in memory of Judi may be made to a charity of one's choice.
