Kelly J. DuBois

Kelly J. (Peaslee) DuBois, 66, passed away peacefully at her home in Plymouth, NY, on Thursday, June 5, 2025, while surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Cortland, NY, on August 10, 1958, Kelly was the daughter of Wendell and Carolyn Cornelius Peaslee. Kelly was known for her vibrant spirit and strong work ethic, having previously been employed as a store clerk at the South Otselic Store. Her time there was characterized by her friendly demeanor and warm interactions with customers, contributing to the community she held dear.

Family was at the heart of Kelly's life. In addition to her parents, Wendell and Carolyn Peaslee, she is survived by her beloved sons, Chad (Linda) Fairbanks, Joshua (Nika) DuBois, and Austin (Melissa) DuBois, who carry her legacy forward. Kelly also cherished her role as a grandmother to six treasured grandchildren, always embodying the joy of family gatherings and celebrations of life. She also leaves behind her sisters, Lori (Jim) Rice and Claudia (Joe) Natale.

Finally, Kelly leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom will remember her kindness and the moments they shared. As we remember Kelly, we celebrate her life, her love for her family, and her impact on those fortunate enough to know her. She is deeply missed and will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones.

Kelly was preceded in death by her husband, Terry DuBois, who passed away on January 31, 2025. Their love story was an inspiration to many, characterized by support and companionship.
