Kenneth C. Burlingame

Kenneth C. Burlingame, 75, of Willet, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at his home.

Ken was born in Pennsylvania on December 10, 1934, a son of the late Robert and Marjorie Rought Burlingame. A longtime resident of this area, he was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in both the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corp. He also served as a past town supervisor for the Town of Willet.

He is survived by his children, Patricia (Robert) D'Achille, Robert (Wanita) Burlingame, Kenneth (Terry) Burlingame, Jr., Gregory Burlingame, Valerie (James) Gana, Barbara (Greg) Smith, Brian (Lee) Burlingame, Pamela (Michael) Lum, Blaine (Debbie) Burlingame, and Calvin (Leslie) Burlingame. He also leaves behind 23 grandchildren, including a special grandson, Nicholas, and several great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, NY on Friday, June 4, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Mark Lata officiating.
