Laslo "Dino" M. Polakovich

Laslo "Dino" M. Polakovich, 62, of McDonough, NY, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, June 4, 2015.

Born in Yugoslavia on January 20, 1953, Dino was the son of the late George and Mary Durinka Polakovich.  He was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Greene, NY.

He is survived by his life partner of 30 years, Maureen Bedell, and his stepchildren, Donna (Jeffrey) Romano of Gurnee, IL and Maureen Hendrickson of Whitestone, NY.  He also leaves behind a sister, Angie DiStefano, of Oxford, and a niece, Marisa DiStefano of Oxford.

In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by a stepson, Ronald Bedell, and a brother, George Polakovich.

A memorial mass will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Greene, NY, on Saturday, June 13, 2015, at 1:00 p.m.  Expressions of sympathy in memory of Laslo may be directed to the National Kidney Foundation, Finance Department, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
