We knew Les a long time and he was a great person. We bought fence posts from him and he was a snowmobile customer. Nice to be around him.

Blanche and family,
I was so sorry to read Bud's death in the paper today. He was a great man. I have many fond memories and he certainly imposed a positive impact upon my life and career. Unfortunately I have an auction this weekend and will be unable to attend calling hours. I want you to know that my thoughts will be with you.

I'm sorry to here about Leslie. I'm sorry I couldn't be there but I did not hear about it untill tonight(Friday). I just want everyone to know that I was lucky to grow up on your farm and to know your father. He helped teach me many important things in life, and I'll always remember that. It's a shame we had to lose a man like him, their are not many like him left. Someday we'll see him again, and he'll be driving a Farmall of some description, in a poke-a-dotted hat, one hand on the wheel with a big smile on his face.
Love to everyone,
Asa Bartholomew
