Guestbook

Dear Gretchen and Curt - we are so sorry to hear of Ethies' passing. We have such fond memories of our families times together. "Christmas pagents" we all put together and many fun dinners and evenings. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. Ethie was such an amazing friend to all of us, particularly MOM. She will be dearly missed.

Dear Curt and Gretchen and Family,
I have known this wonderful Lady for over 80 years.  I graduated from Cincinnatus High in 1942, and Ethelynn 2 0r 3 years later.
Ethely and Curt Gardner have been a "by word" in Cincinnatus forever - they were the kind of friends that Fairy Tales are made of.
God Bless you, Ethelyn, and may God Bless Curt and Gretchen.
My deepest sympathy to the whole Gardner Family.
We will all miss your smiling face.     Love to all.     Tom Jones, Jr.

Gretchen & Family,

Sending you big hugs of comfort as you grieve your loss.

Mandy

"For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun?

And what is to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered?

Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.

And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb.

And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance."

Dear Gretchen, I don't know if you remember me but I was your hospital couch partner.  I am so sorry about your mom.  I had a minute tonight and searched the paper to see if your mom had passed.  I know we didn't know each other, but the days we spent at the hospital seemed endless.  Please know you and your father will be in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely Lesa Townsend
