She is survived by her husband, John Fitch, and a son, Matthew (Emily) Fitch of Buffalo.  She also leaves behind a brother, Edward (Michele) Sheats of Pulaski; and sisters-in-law, Alyce Fitch of South Otselic, Beverly (Stan) Ely of Killawog, Ruth (Richard) Rood of North Pitcher, and Cheryl (Don) Weed of Marathon.

A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church of South Otselic on Thursday, September 11, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Daniel Drake and Reverend Jim Moore officiating.  In keeping with her wishes, there will be no prior calling hours.  Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mary may be directed to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 100 Metropolitan Park Drive, Suite 400, Liverpool, NY 13088.

Mary was a sweet sister-in-law and I loved her. She was the best neighbor I ever had.  How I missed her when the family left South Otselic.  She was the best "dog
walker, lover, sitter and car taker" I know!
She has already left a big empty spot in many hearts and I know for certain that the days ahead will be very hard for you.  Love is eternal....she'll be in our hearts forever.
Love to you all,

Alyce Sep 10 2014 12:00 AM
