Michael James Ryan

Michael James Ryan, 37, of Cortland, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 4, 2015, at his home.

Michael was born in Cortland, NY, on September 16, 1978, the son of Dorothy Barber Ryan.  A lifelong resident of the area, he was previously employed at Marietta Corporation, Cortland, NY.

He is survived by his children, Brandon, Katelyn, and Joshua Ryan, all of Cortland; and his mother, Dorothy Ryan, of Cortland.  He also leaves behind his brothers, Billy Jo Ryan of Cincinnatus, and Steve Ryan of Cortland; a sister, Samantha Chambers, of Arizona; several nieces and nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, NY, on Thursday, December 10, 2015, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.  In keeping with the wishes of the family, there will be no formal funeral service.
