Miriam Dunham Lamb

Miriam Dunham Lamb, 89, of NYS Route 26, Willet, NY, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2011, at the Tidewell Hospice in Venice, FL.

Mrs. Lamb was born in Marathon, NY on April 13, 1922, a daughter of the late Archie and Gladys Spencer Albro. A longtime resident of the Willet area, she was a member and great supporter of the Upper Lisle Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Maranatha Class of First Baptist Church of Cincinnatus. She moved to Venice, FL three years ago to be near her son. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a hairdresser from her home. She was a member of the Willet/Cincinnatus Sr. Center and attended Golden Age of Whitney Point.

She is survived by her son, William (Cynthia) Dunham of Venice, FL; and her five grandsons, Tim Fink of Fairfax, VA, Jim Fink of Lakewood Ranch, FL, Dr. Kyle Dunham of Virginia Beach, VA, Brent Dunham of Bradenton, FL and Daniel Dunham of Lakewood Ranch, FL; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Harry Dunham, in 1985, and her second husband Robert Lamb in 2004; a daughter, Jackie Studer, in 2011. She was also predeceased by brothers Spencer Albro and Leslie Albro; and sisters, Virginia Peak and Dottie Baker.

Funeral services will be held at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, NY on Saturday, November 26, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. with her grandson, Dr. Kyle Dunham officiating. Burial will be in Upper Lisle Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Saturday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mrs. Lamb may be directed to Tidewell Hospice, 220 Wexford Blvd., Venice, FL 34293.
