Miyuki Marks

Miyuki Marks of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 27th , 2021. Miyuki was born August 1, 1934 to Shosai and Ito Yokokoji.

Miyuki was born in Sasago Japan and met her husband Douglas Marks of Cincinnatus, NY in 1956 while Douglas was stationed in Tokyo as a member of the US Army. As a military family Miyuki and Douglas enjoyed multiple deployments in the United States and abroad while supporting their growing family.

Miyuki was an exceptional wife, mother, and homemaker. Miyuki loved to cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, especially during holidays. She also loved to watch cooking, shopping and Japanese TV channels along with Indianapolis Colts football games. Miyuki cared deeply for her husband and family and would do anything to support them. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was. Her family grieves her loss, but they take comfort knowing that Douglas and Miyuki are together again in heaven.

They are survived by their sons Jimmie (Luz), Michael (Kristy), Terrel (Marnie), twelve grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and three sisters (Tomoyo, Fumie, and Fusako Yokokoji).
