Paula R. Simmons

Paula R. (Mangum) Simmons, 41, of Berkshire, NY, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023, at the Cayuga Medical Center, Ithaca, NY, with her family by her side.

Paula was born in Syracuse, NY, on June 20, 1981, the daughter of Paul and Linda Blair Mangum.  She was a 2001 graduate of Newark Valley Central School.  Family was important to Paula and she was a proud and loving wife and mother of five children.

She is survived by her husband of almost 22 years, William E. Simmons; and their children, Cherish (Ryan) Allen of Newark Valley, Allyah (Mark Thompson) Simmons, April (Nate Mapes) Simmons, Kathryn Simmons, and William C. Simmons, all of Berkshire.  She also leaves behind her mother, Linda Williamson of Berkshire; and her in-laws, William J. and Cheryl Simmons, of Berkshire.

She was predeceased by her father, Paul Mangum.
