Richard Wayne Elwood

Richard Wayne Elwood, 66, of Endicott, NY, and formerly of Cincinnatus, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 11, 2009, at Binghamton General Hospital.

Richard was born in the Town of Taylor on September 11, 1942, a son of the late Kenneth and Stella Fisk Elwood.

He is survived by his brother, Kenneth "Jim" (Kelly) Elwood of Canton; sisters, Barbara (Gordon) DeAngelo of Chittengo, and Patricia (Thomas) Johnston of DeRuyter; an aunt, Kathryn Elwood of Cincinnatus; and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with the wishes of the family, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. A graveside ceremony will be held at Taylor Rural Cemetery in the spring of the year.
