Robert W. Alt

Robert W. Alt, 68, of Conklin, NY, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at his home, while surrounded by his family.

Bob was born in Saddle Brook, NJ, on December 6, 1949, the son of the late Antone and Lillian Kellaway Alt.  He was a 1967 graduate of Cincinnatus Central School and served as Fire Lieutenant for the FDNY Ladder Company 42 until his retirement in 1989.  After retirement, he worked as a self-employed contractor.

He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Jean Alfano Alt; his children, Nichelle Langone of NYC and Robert Alt of Pitcher; and a step-son, Sean Mahoney of Mineola.  He also leaves behind his granddaughters, Jenna and Jillian Langone; a brother, Freddy “Bruce” Alt of NC; a sister, Laureitta Fealy of FL; his mother-in-law, Emma Alfano of Bayside; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Anthony and William Alt; and a sister, Mary Moore.
