Roberta "Robin" L. Naylor

Roberta "Robin" L. (Jester) Naylor, 80, of Cincinnatus, NY passed away at the Loretto Health & Rehabilitation Center, Syracuse, NY, on Saturday, January 3, 2026, with her family by her side.

A cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Robin was born in Austin, TX on January 20, 1945, the daughter of the late Robert and Catherine Cargin Jester. For many years, Robin served as a licensed practical nurse, touching the lives of many with her nurturing spirit and unwavering commitment to care. Her professional journey was a testament to her passion for helping others, and her compassionate nature left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her.

Robin's personality was as vibrant as her interests. An avid bowler, she enjoyed countless evenings at Cort-Lanes, where she shared laughter and friendly competition with friends and family. Summers were particularly special for Robin as she ventured to New Jersey, where she delighted in the invigorating beach atmosphere. Her home was a sanctuary, featuring a cherished pool and a beautiful flower bed that she tenderly cared for. Among her simple pleasures, nothing could match her love for chocolate chip cookies and iced coffee from Dunkin Donuts, which she often indulged in with joy.

Robin leaves behind a loving family who will continue to honor her memory. She is survived by her daughters, Dawn Randolph of Manlius and Nicole Burhans of Cincinnatus; her son, Jamie Reynolds of Auburn; and an array of grandchildren, including Becca, Justin Jr., Ashley, Paige, Brittany, Nichole, Jessica, Brooke, Karli, Lucas, and Anne. Additionally, she is survived by her great-grandchildren: Tavin, Ashton, Lincoln, Seth, Chloe, Deegan, Bentlee, Luka Frederick, Paisley, Anastasia, Natalie, Bubba, Amyra, Cebastian, Kaylannah, Aiden, Reah, Elijah, and Patric. Her brother, Steve Jester (Donna) of Iowa, also grieves her passing.

Robin was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 28 years, Fred Thomas Naylor, on January 18, 2021. She also mourned the loss of her son, Reid Harris, her granddaughter Heather, and her brother, Jon Jester.

The family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Robin's life during the visitation at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, NY, on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Will Gallerani officiating. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Robin may be directed to the Cortland County SPCA, 879 McLean Road, Cortland, NY 13045.
