Ruth M. Angell

Ruth M. Angell, 85, of Taylor and formerly of Union Valley, passed peacefully on Monday evening, December 10, 2012, at the loving home of her daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Spence.

Ruth was born in Truxton, NY on March 1, 1927, a daughter of the late Orie and Ruth Hollenbeck Bush.  A lifelong resident of the area, she attended Taylor Wesleyan Church and the Lincklaen Celebration Community Church.  For several years, she served as the treasurer for the Union Valley Cemetery Association.  She was a loving mother and grandmother who truly cherished her family.

She is survived by her children, Doris (Don) Stith, Floyd (Judy) Angell, Virginia (Oscar) Bartholomew, Nancy Hendrie, Ruth Ann (Bill) Aldrich, Bonnie Merchant, Stuart (Priscilla) Angell, Gary (Mary Lewis) Angell, Bradley (David Christopher) Angell, Sherry (Tim) Hammond, Kathy (David) McCracken, David Angell, Connie (Spence) Angell-Lincoln, Shelby (Steve) George and Mary Sutton.  She also leaves behind a brother, Gurdon Bush, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ruth was predeceased by her loving husband, Stuart, and her son, Wendell.

Funeral services will be held at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, NY on Friday, December 14, 2012, at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be in Union Valley Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
