Sally Ann Jackson Davis, 91, of Cincinnatus, NY, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at her home, while surrounded by her family.

Born to Walter and Marian Brainard Jackson in Endicott, NY, Sally spent her early years in the Southern Tier, including Owego and Halsey Valley. In 1949, her family moved to Cincinnatus, NY to run the telephone office and Sally met her lifetime friend, Donalou Banks Law. After graduating from Cincinnatus Central School as salutatorian, Sally married the love of her life, Richard Davis, on her 18th birthday. Together they worked and built up the farm bordering Taylor, where Sally lived the rest of her life.

Sally volunteered and served on several boards in the community, including the Cincinnatus Area Heritage Society and the Taylor Rural Cemetery Association where she held multiple officer positions. Along with spending time with family and friends, Sally also enjoyed antiques, gardening, western books, traveling, and casinos.

Sally is survived by her daughter, Peggy Davis; granddaughter, Madison Hyer (Greg Bilodeau); brother, Charles Jackson; brother-in-law, Richard Greene; nieces and nephews including, Paul Horton, Joanne (Dale) Isbell, David (Jennifer) Sayles, and Cynthia Sayles Lora. Sally also leaves behind family, Lynn McUmber, Remington (Madasyn) McUmber, Joey McUmber (Allyzza Agren), Karolyn Whaley, and caregivers, Bonnie Bonham and Joanna Malmquest.

In addition to her parents, Sally was predeceased by her husband, Richard; son, Timothy Davis; two infant sons; siblings, Jean Horton Chilson, John Jackson, Betty Greene, Steve Jackson, and her 20-year old cat, Babe.

Graveside services for Sally will be held at the Taylor Rural Cemetery on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. There will be no prior calling hours or funeral services.
