Sandra Cruikshank

Sandra (Morse) Cruikshank, 84, of McGraw, NY, passed away on Tuesda,y September 23, 2025. She was born on November 2, 1940, the daughter of the late Harry and Katherine Pratt Morse.

Sandra was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. She was a longtime resident of the Cortland County area. Sandra was employed with the Crescent Corset Company until its closing, then going on to work for ARC, until retiring in 2000. In 1999, she made the decision to earn her high school diploma, which she took great pride in. In her free time, Sandra loved organizing gatherings and being with her family and friends. She had a great love for hummingbirds as well, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Sandra is survived by her children Lucy Livermore, Carole Preston, Harry (Sherry) Cruikshank, Judy McMullen, and William (Brooke) Cruikshank, her sisters Doris Wilcox and Lucinda Bonham, as well as her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sandra is predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Edward Cruikshank Sr., her son Edward "Skip" Cruikshank Jr., her grandson Nicholas Livermore, her sisters Arra Breed, Esther Goddard, and Kay Berry.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday October 4, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at the North Pitcher Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow at Willett Town Hall Community Center, 1427 Route 41, Willet, NY.

The family would like to thank the staff at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center, 2 South, for their kindness and care for Sandra. A special thank you to Michelle Myers whose been a dedicated, loving and caring aide for three years for Sandra.
