Sarah Brown

Sarah was born in Solon Pond, NY on December 27, 1930, the daughter of the late Generoso and Josepha Suarez Diaz.  A lifetime resident of this area, she retired from First City National Bank in Binghamton where she worked as a bank teller for several years.  After leaving the bank, she worked as a principal in Brown’s Trailer Sales for 18 years.

She is survived by her husband, Harold E. Brown, of Marathon; two sons, Byron (Joan) Kellogg of Durango, CO and Scott Kellogg of Whitney Point.  She also leaves behind her granddaughters, Robyn S. Kellogg of Durango, CO and Stacy R. Kellogg, of Portland OR; her stepdaughters, Loretta (Colby) Meister of Greene and Christy (Richard) Fowlstown of Cincinnatus; and her sister-in-law and close friend, Ruth Diaz, of Cincinnatus.

She was predeceased by a son, Raymond Kellogg, in 1980.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services.  Expressions of sympathy in memory of Sarah may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
