Susan M. (Horrocks) Deiss

Susan M. Deiss, 67, of Willet, NY, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at the Guthrie Cortland Regional Medical Center.

Born in Cortland, NY, on July 30, 1955, Susan was the daughter of the late James and Dorothy Gross Horrocks.  A lifelong resident of the area, she was a member of the Willet Fire Department Auxiliary for many years.

She is survived by her sons, Clayton (Brenda) Deiss of Cincinnatus, and Bruce (Kimberly) Deiss of Willet.  She also leaves behind her sisters, Jackie, Karen and Kelly; a brother, William; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Richard Deiss, on November 8, 2015.
