Terry W. Wight

Terry W. Wight, 69, of Cincinnatus, NY, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2011, at his home, following a brief illness.

Terry was born in Utica, NY on June 23, 1942, a son of the late Donald and Josephine Diaz Wight. A 1961 graduate of Cincinnatus Central School, he served in the National Guard Reserves from 1964 to 1970. He was employed as a truck driver with Don Wight Trucking, Cincinnatus, and later with Coventry Transport Services, Coventry. Terry was an avid classic car enthusiast who enjoyed traveling to the many car shows.

He is survived by his life partner, Barb O'Brien, and her children.

In keeping with his wishes, a private graveside service will be held at the Cincinnatus Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Terry may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons Street, E. Syracuse, NY 13057.
