Expressing my sypathy for the loss of Verna. Death of any loved one is so devastating and overwhelming that words can't erase the hurt that it causes to those left behind. The Bible speaks about the promised resurrection in John 5:28,29. Our loved ones are asleep, conscious of nothing at all (Eccl. 9:5,10 and john 11:11-14) and are awaiting resurrection to life when the time is right and then, as promised in Psalm 37:29 will reside forever upon the earth. This all brings comfort to me that I have the hope of seeing my loved ones again. Of course it still hurts not to have them here with me now but God had given me hope in his Word, the Bible that when the time is right they will be with me.
