My wife (Jan Wentworth) and I worked with Ginny for many years at Otselic Valley Central School. I was a teacher and guidance counselor from 1970 until 2000. My wife still works in the school's district office. My deepest sympathy goes out to the family. Virginia Cook was a classy lady with a rare sense of decency and integrity. I am so sorry for your loss.

My grandmother was a role model to our family. She exuded grace, patience, selflessness, and integrity, even as she suffered the last several years of her life.I pray that she has found peace and an end to her discomfort. Her passing renews in me the knowledge that love, kindness, respect, forgiveness, and family are what is most important. She will be missed.
