Virginia D. House

Virginia D. House, 86, of Cortland, NY, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at her home.

Born in Dryden, NY, on March 6, 1933, Virginia was the daughter of the late Donald and Martha Newlan Hulslander.  Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Pall Trinity in Cortland, NY.

She is survived by her son, Jon House of Cortland; a son-in-law, Philip Totman of Cincinnatus; grandchildren, Kalli Totman, Jacob Totman, Shannon Eggleston, Jamie Moore, and Megan Corbin; and 13 great-grandchildren.  She also leaves behind a brother, William (Gloria) Hulslander of Marathon; and a sister, Lois (Ken) Alt of Cortland; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Rebecca Totman, on September 4, 2019, and a brother, Donald "Skip" Hulslander.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no funeral services.  Expressions of sympathy in memory of Virginia may be sent to a local food pantry or a charity of one's choice.
