Warren E. Barth, born October 1, 1926, in Fairview, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Guthrie Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Cortland, New York, at the age of 99.

Warren lived a long and meaningful life, marked by dedication to his family and a quiet strength that touched all who knew him. Warren's journey began in Fairview, WV, where his early years shaped the steadfast character and values that would serve as the foundation of his life. Through nine remarkable decades, he cultivated deep roots wherever he went, consistently guided by his integrity, kindness, and commitment to those he held dear.

A proud veteran, Warren served honorably in the U.S. Air Force during both World War II and the Korean Conflict, exemplifying bravery and patriotism throughout his military service. His sense of duty and commitment to helping others continued beyond his years in the service and influenced all aspects of his life.

Warren dedicated himself to a variety of organizations that were close to his heart. For over sixty years, he was a passionate member and Past Master of the Crossroads Lodge F&AM in Syracuse and the Valley of Syracuse Scottish Rite Bodies. He also served as the member and past commander of the McGraw American Legion Post. His community involvement extended further as a past member of the McGraw Lions Club, and as member emeritus and Past President of the Cortland Salvation Army Board. He served as Vice President of the Chenango Mutual Insurance Company, consistently offering leadership and guidance.

Warren was a devoted husband to his late wife, Ellen Barth, whose loving partnership enriched his days and provided him with constant support until her passing. He was also preceded in death by his beloved son, Kimberly Barth, a loss felt deeply within the family.

He is survived by his daughter Deborah Barth, who carries forward his spirit and legacy. The close bond Warren shared with Deb was a source of immense pride and comfort. Throughout his life, Warren's devotion to his family remained one of his proudest accomplishments, and his memory will continue to inspire them.

Though many details of Warren's daily life and pursuits are private, those who knew him remember a man of quiet dignity—a person who valued tradition, showed unwavering loyalty, and left an indelible impression on those around him. His wisdom, gentle presence, and sense of responsibility were gifts to his loved ones and community.

Family and friends will gather to honor Warren’s life at a graveside service on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., held at Tully Cemetery in Tully, New York.
