William B. Hall II

William B. Hall II, 69, of Ithaca, NY, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016, at the Cayuga Medical Center, Ithaca, NY.

Born in Ithaca, NY, on November 21, 1946, Bill was the son of William and Alethea Couch Hall.  A lifetime resident of the area, he had served as the Town of Danby Highway Superintendent for several years.  After leaving the Town of Danby, he retired from the Town of Dryden Highway Department.

In addition to his mother, Alethea Hall of Ithaca; he is survived by his wife, Jean Martin Hall of Ithaca; his children, Lisa Hall of Ovid, Krista Perkins of Ithaca, George Hall of Ithaca, and Ted (Kit) Hall of Speedsville.  He also leaves behind a stepdaughter, Barb Reed, of Enfield; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Don (Marty) Hall of FL, Frank (Fil) Hall of Ithaca, and Peter (Sally) Hall of Ithaca; his long-time companion, Joyce Reed, of Speedsville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his father, William.

A memorial service will be held at the Danby Federated Church on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. immediately followed by a luncheon at the Church Parish Hall.  There will be no prior calling hours.
