Wilma M. Brown

Wilma M. (Heath) Brown, 71, of E. Freetown, NY, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2012, at the Cortland Regional Medical Center, Cortland, NY, while surrounded by her family.

Born in the Town of Homer, NY on April 6, 1941, Wilma was a daughter of the late Clarence and Eunice Finn Heath.  Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an inspector for McGraw Box Company.

She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Bob) Enright of McDonough and Lovina (Brian) Abbey of McGraw; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Tyler and Hanah Enright, Jessica (Tommy) Thompson, Krissie Brown, and Scott Brown, Jr.; her great-grandchildren, Logan, Mason, Brok, Collin, Mariah, Skylee, Scott III, and Lynzee.  She also leaves behind a brother, Allen (Berthina) Heath of Idaho; sisters, Vera Wothe of California, Camilla (Jack) Cobb of Pitcher, Bertha Allen of Blodgett Mills, and Laura (Ronald) Aldrich of Marcellus; stepsisters, Arlene Knupp of Cortland, Pauline (Homer) Batsford of Cortland; stepbrother Robert (Beverly) Sternbergh of Greene; sisters-in-law, Louise Heath of Groton and Barbara Heath of N. Syracuse; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and close friends, Carol and Earl Wilbur of E. Freetown.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Clifford Brown, on August 25, 2001, and brothers, Raymond and Kyle Heath.

Funeral services will be held at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, NY on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend James Hundley officiating.  Burial will be in McGraw Rural Cemetery.  The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
