Charles R. Tetreault, 84, of Cincinnatus (Taylor), NY, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2020, at his home, while surrounded by his family.
Born in Windsor, VT, on May 26, 1936, Mr. Tetreault proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1954 until his honorable discharge in 1957. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as a carpenter for General Dynamics, Groton, CT.
His survived by his wife of 55 years, Diane Butski Tetreault; and his children, Merreeta Ellington of OK, Carrie (Andy) Andress of Solvay, Richard (Kim) Tetreault of CT, Napoleon Tetreault of Taylor, and Moses (Kristen) Tetreault of Taylor. He also leaves behind his brothers, Ernest Tetreault of Williamstown, VT, Phillip (Blanche) Tetreault of VT, and Leo Tetreault of White River Junction, VT; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by several siblings.
A memorial service will be held at a date and time to be announced at the Taylor Wesleyan Church with Reverend Peter Bush officiating. There will be no prior calling hours. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mr. Tetreault may be directed to any local organization to benefit veterans of the Armed Forces.
